I am delighted to be the new Team Vicar for Thame, helping our Rector Mike Reading oversee both St Mary’s and the congregation which formerly met at Barley Hill School. I’m still living in Witney as my eldest is about to sit A-Levels and middle child GCSEs. The 5 of us and our dog will move to the vicarage on Stuart Way, Lea Park in July and I look forward to meeting more of you then.

Until the recent pandemic our church met on Sundays at Barley Hill School. We are now looking to re-kindle our connections with the school to support it in creative ways in the future.

We continue to support our community through many initiatives at St Mary’s, for example through Sparklers (our Wednesday morning toddler group), Sunday services (8am formal, 10.15am family with kid’s church, 3pm evensong/quiet and 6.30pm informal), Youth Groups, and 55+ (our monthly lunch club for older people).
