Hanging Baskets /garden Tubs/ Floral display competition
The competition was announced in the Spring edition of the Newsletter.
There were 14 nominations. The criteria for the judges were based on displays which were visually pleasing with a WOW factor. A good mix of upright and trailing plants in the hanging baskets. Good siting of baskets or pots.
The judges had an interesting time viewing the nominated front gardens for this completion with difficult choices to be made.
The three winners selected are:-
First prize of £10 goes to Mr and Mrs Barratt, 13 Henrietta Road
Second prize of £5 goes to Mrs Legall, 4 Chalgrove Road
Third prize of £3 goes to Mr and Mrs Wilford, 7 Cromwell Ave
